About This Quote

This is in direct contrast to what you would normally hear at a funeral. It is not a time for eulogies, which is the long obituary of the life of a person. It is a time to say how much a person meant to you and how they have contributed positively to the world. If the person only contributed negatively at all, then it is not a good idea.

However, if they have contributed positively to the world, then it would be wrong to take their life away from them. That would be like killing someone who has just saved your life. In that situation, you would be thanking him for saving your life and would feel grateful that he was there to save you from certain death.
